SBS 2003 Migration issue

Hello all,

Our customers SBS 2003 server crashed. We pulled the Microsoft Tech article, "Moving an SBS 2003 to new hardware"...

Evertyhing has been fine up to now. We are currently trying to move the DC from the old machine to the new, BUT the administrator account is not working on the new machine.

It appears that the Active Directory Replication failed from one server to the other.

Suggestions?

Check the firewall that may be enabled by default. I've run into sysvol replication problems when the firewall was turned on.

Thought it got turned off yesterday, looks like it is on....thanks for the tip...

Turned off the firewall, but now getting an error that the replication failed due to a schema mismatch...
