sorry, This is not the correct forum, but I cannnot find one suitable.

I am trying to install SBS 2003 onto an ML330 server, but cannot choose that operating system from the list on smartstart - I have tried selecting sbs200, and 2003 server, but these will not work.

does anyone know how I would install sbs2003?

I am using smartstart 6.40

thanks
CJ

I just ran into the same issue on a ML350. I just stuck the SBS2003 CD in the drive and did an install. I then went back after SBS completed and installed the drivers from the SmartStart CD.

turned out that the only reason i could not do an install straight from the disk was because i was on an ATA system. I had to download the drivers and do F6 to specify a third party driver.

oh, and Hp dont support SBS 2003.

Hi connor,
go into the BIOS and switch the Operating system to "other".
After the reboot with the Smartstart-CD you could enable all other operating systems

tried changing that in the bios, but that didnt fix it, I just did a straight install from the CD after adding drivers for ATA controller.
