@sbcsu - do you have the dbcheck tool for 4K? I checked Tonido.

You do your REGEN and this tool parses the file and generates a text file with errors and warnings about your configuration. It was written by MBJ in TAC many moons ago. One of my support vendors ran my database through it and generated the file, and as I have been cleaning it up I wanted to keep it fresh.

The output looks like this:

Code:
Error: SCSU: STNO 8721, has CCTIDX = 0 and FLASH=Y, should be 1.
Flash and On Hook times may be wrong, there can be disconnect problems.
Flash Min: 50 Flash Max: 130 On Hook: 150

Error: SCSU: STNO 122255, has CCTIDX = 0 and FLASH=Y, should be 1.
Flash and On Hook times may be wrong, there can be disconnect problems.
Flash Min: 50 Flash Max: 130 On Hook: 150

It would be helpful if I could get a copy and of course I could put it on the Tondio as well.
Can you upload it if you can find it - thanks

I will if I can get my hands on it. I don't expect the tech who used it to give it to me, but I might be able to get it from somewhere else. Didn't know if you already had it as you strike me as a service provider )

Well I have been called many things in my life... [wink]

If you can get your hands on it that would be great - I suspect it is a derivative of PCDacon

You can find it in the SEBA knowledge base.

I tried to upload it to the Temp folder on Tonido, but got the error message 'Upload into this directory not permitted'.

I have the upload turned off until requested like now - please transfer it when you can - thank you.

If that doesn't work I have the latest version promised to me by the end of the day. I'm not allowed to download much off the portal except firmware and documentation and piddly little things. The good stuff I have to ask my vendor to download and then they roll their eyes because they have to do it.... And that is after taking the entire North American Service track on the system...

Thanks Don and TKFan - I have moved the uploaded items to their folders - please let me know if not OK
Also I will leave the upload on for now so please upload any items you think might be of interest.

Thank you to whoever provided the file AND the docs! My source must have gotten busier than expected and forgot to send it to me.

Thanks Guys - it works for me on newer versions anyway - handy to have.

I was told you can pretty much ignore the warnings unless they are obvious to some problem you are having, and also I have 400-ish analog phones that never had some parameter set when they first built them and basically said "so, are you saying that you guys forgot to do this when you created the database and now I have to spend 2 months fixing them?" to which the reply was "This file is just a guide - if you are not having problems with the phones you don't need to make theose changes". Plus other dumb things like stations with non-ISDN PUBNUM, TON not set right, etc...

I had some issues though with trunking, where NTI numbers were missing, and a couple of NCUI settings that had to be tweaked for my environment, and I did all those things fairly quickly.
