SAVRTPEL service failed to start

HELP!!!!!

I am at a lost.

We have a Windows 2000 terminal server that is getting the following message.

The SAVRTPEL service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the path specified.

Everything I find shows Windows XP having this problem and that it realtes to norton Antivirus.

This server does not have Norton installed.

Can someone help me!!!!!

If this product is definatly not installed on the server then scan the registry for SAVRTPEL and delete anything it finds.

Reboot afterwards and see what you get!!

Removed all register entries related to symantec.

No Errors!
