Saving voicemail pro

Hello,

If you save a config in Voicemail Pro. What happens to all calls that are currently inside a VM call flow? Will they be disconnected?

No, the change doesn't actually take effect until all calls have left VM Pro

That's only true if we are talking about simple setups, no inserted modules, goto's, etc.

If the new config has any conflicting setup with the old, you can lock the present caller in a loop or kick him out by accident.

Lets say a call is carrying a $CP1 with it from 1st announcement, but you just altered the 2nd announcement to put the contents of $CP2 into a database, and fails miserably.

Nothing should happen.
After the save and make live you will need to wait till VMPro is idle.
Only then the changes are applied.

I didn't say it doesn't
Sometimes people save and test straight away without checking if it is idle and then it won't work.
