Saving Forms

Hi all,

I'm still a beginner on Lotus Notes. I've encountered some problem on saving forms and i hope u can help me.
I have a form, which consist of an embedded view(with radio buttons), and another view using @DbColumn method (with checkbox). For ur information, all of the views are in the same database,and the checkbox and radio button were done using HTML pass-thru and i'm currently doing it on the localhost.


The problem :
1) if i select on the checkbox and the radio buttons, and then click the save button using @Command([FileSave]), it will bring to the error "Page cannot be displayed".

But if i only select either checkbox or radio buttons, and click on the save, it can be saved.

What is happening to my form? I've been tackling this problem for 3 days but no answer found. Please Help!

Have you assigned a category to the embedded views ?
If you have, and your formula comes up empty, then you might get the error.

Notes has no problems saving a doc with empty fields. Try removing the embedded views to confirm that.
Then try adding one embedded view at a time. Maybe one is working with your formulas and not the other.
Once you know which one is not working, check all formulas to ensure that they always evaluate to a reliable result.

Thanks for ur quick response.
For ur information, I'm using Lotus R5. and in this version, we can only insert one embedded view per form.

Therefore, I'm using single-cat embedded view for my radio buttons and another view was done using @DbColumn method and some HTML code to make it looks like a view(which contain the checkboxes). Both the views properties were selected "Treat view contents as HTML".

Actually i've tried placing both the embedded views separately on 2 different forms. Meaning, EMBV1(embedded view1) on form A1, and EMBV2 on form A2. Later, using the @Command([FileSave]), i can managed to save both the forms.

The problem :
If i put those 2 embedded views into a form, i cannot save it. I can only choose to save either the radio buttons or the checkbox. But can't save both of it.

Do u have any idea?
