Hello,
I'm trying to save a file to show a specific view of a "Form" when the file is reopened. When the file is reopened it comes up blank, and have to double click to activate to show the "form". Is there anyway to change this?

Can you be more specific about what "view" you are trying to see and what "view" you are seeing instead (by blank do you mean the background color of the form, not the data you are looking for or ???)

Sorry, I shouldn't have use the word view.

I'm trying to save the file with a form showing on the screen. I want the users to see this when they open the database. Anyways....When I save it, and reopen it...the screen is blank and have to double click on the form to redisplay it.

You need to automatically open the form when Access starts, got it.

Two options.

Make a macro that opens the form and name it Autoexec. The macro named Autoexec automatically runs by when access starts.

Otherwise you can specify a startup form...

In Access 2010 this would be File, Options, Current Database Tab, Select your form from the Display form box.

In Access 2003 this would be a dialog hidden somewhere under the tools menu... (Start-up) Options, maybe on the database Utilities sub menut? I'd know it if I had it in front of me.
