We are running our reports via sql stored procedure. When I create a report I set up the database connection, input the username/password, and save the report. When I open the report again crystal reports 8.5 prompts me for the password again. Does anyone out there know how to save the password so I'm not prompted any longer.

What kind of database connection?
ODBC allows you to save the connectivty info, are you using OLE DB, or?

hello madsnooka, it seems that we are on the same boat. i'm also having a problem with the connection, and i am also using ole/db sql connection. if ever you have an answer to this problem, pls. let me know, and also if i got a solution to this problem, i will let you know too. thank you
