I am trying to delete the white in a logo that I have but when I do and save and open in illustrator, the file still has the white. Any suggestions?

Save it as a .png file and that should do the trick. :)

Cheers~Frank

Select all the white area -- then choose select inverse - copy that and paste - should give you a new layer then delete other layers - keeps as psd and put into ill.
