saveset report

Hi all,
i am using legato on an IRIX machine.
I would like this machine to send me the succesfull or unsuccessfull backup reports
by mail. is it possible.
i am using sendmail.

Have a look at the notifications.
Create a new notification for the Savegroup Completion and enter "mail bla@foo" as command. If sendmail is setup correctly it will send the savegroup completion report by mail.
You could change the existing notification, but that will prevent the networker from writing to the logfiles. That might not be desired because sometimes mail can get lost.

But be aware - each time a savegroup is finished you will get mail.

Create a mail alias that contains a list of users to receive the mail, along with root on that system. In the notifications window, stick in "myalias@whatever.com".
