savefs: Cannot obtain disk quota information: Access is denied.

I am trying to run a backup on a Windows 2000 box using NetWorker 7.2.1 client for windows. I am getting this error:

savefs: Cannot obtain disk quota information: Access is denied.

Any ideas?

I ran into this problem the other day. Its a permissions problem in Windows. Legato service does not have the required permissions to walk the file system.

We got around this problem by starting the Legato service as the "local administrator".

The NT admins are still trying to figure out why this particular server has different permissions from the other several hundred NT servers I back up. Whatever is happening is not readily apparent.

Ok, NetWorker is running as Local System is this the same as local admin? Please excuse me, but I'm coming from a mainframe environment. This is still new to me. I'm not the sysadmin for this box.

Local system is not exactly the same as local admin.
In Windows environment, backup needs some permissions. Check advanced security rights on your disks.
