Hello,

is it possible to save zipped files in ms access?

To the best of my knowledge, No you may not, although with a bit of work you could save text (string) values of the paths to your zip files. Gord

You can download winzip command line editor from the winzip site It is free and lets you shell out of access to zip files up.

Hi,

You can store zip files in Access as OLE objects. You would have to probably have to
package them first perhaps using the Windows Object packager. Each file would be in an OLE field which the user could double click on to activate WinZIP or similiar to extract the archives etc.

Have a good one!
