Save Word file in Word Document format

It sounds very simple but I can't get it fix.
Please HELP!!!
I did exactly like it's shown

In Tools --> Options
Save tab
Default format------------------------------------
Save Word files as: |Word Document(*.) |
--------------------
Unfortunately, when I save word files, it seems doesn't appear in the format I want

Save As
----------------------------
File name: | Doc1 |
____________________________
Save As type: Web Page

I forgot to mention there is nothing above "Web Page" in the "Save as type" drop down list for further selection.
I guest there should be option "Word Document".

Have you tried manually selecting Word Document (*.doc) from the Save as type pull down menu on the Save as screen?
