How do I make a Microsoft Word document save as a PDF?

I think you have to register on their website (unless you have the professional design version)you need the full version not just the reader
And then upload it and they'll send it back to you.

You would need a full copy of Adobe to create PDF's and that costs £'s but you could download a free PDF file creator from

http://www.pdf995.com

or 995pdf.com can't remember which, It does a reasonbable job but it's full of adverts.
Fine unless you want to do really clever stuff but for basic PDF cretion I've had no problems with it.

try Office Ready free templates. it plugs directly into Office and provides conversions to pdf.

Another option is to use PDFCreator. This installs as a printer, so you can convert any document to PDF. You can even combine several documents into one PDF file. The program is open source and can be found here:

Some of the free programs will also put their name and other information at the bottom of your pdf. You may not get all the features that Adobe also gives you. Depends on what you want!

I believe OPenOffice will also allow you to save as pdf..and it's a free suite. I have heard great reports about it.
