I have a site that I do a list history:

4/17 18:53 INADS keith logn
4/17 13:49 INADS keith logf
4/17 13:46 INADS keith cha station 3700
4/17 13:45 INADS keith logn
4/16 16:47 INADS keith logf
4/16 16:37 INADS keith cha station 3700

And i've scrolled through many a page but no record of saved translations. But I do a "list con soft" and I get this. Doesnt it look like it should be saving translations???

So according to the "list con soft" it is for sure being backed up every night ????

To what media? how do i tell?

Andre

On the G3R the "save trans" command takes the translations that are stored on the memory boards and saves it to the hard disk. The "backup disk both full" command will take those translations from the hard disk and put them on either the old tapes or the newer (around V9) optical diskettes.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

Thanks for all the info!

This is a G3csi V8.1. Does this have a hardrive? Stat card gives this:

MEMORY CARD STATUS

Location: 01A Write Protection: off
Status: inserted Capacity (MB): 10 Series 2
System Size: medium Number of Erase Pulses:
Card Format: post-G3V4 Translation Storage Space Used (%): 6

firmware y 03/13/00 11:15

Doesnt that mean that a save translation saves it from memory to to the flashcard? and there is no hardrive...is that right?

Cheers!
Andre
