Save translation Lsp

Having trouble with a lsp i have just set up

Have s8300 with 2 x g700 in london and a s8300 in lsp mode in germany with 2x g700s its all working the london switch can see the gateways in germany and no alarms but when i do a save trans lsp it says pass but i then check the change lsp and it says out of service has does any one no if any ports need to open on teh firewall ?

go to the web browser of the lsp and go to configure server and make sure you have entered the correct details under the LSP section

I Have check this already all looks ok

You cannot save translations on either an LSP or ESS server. They are downloaded from the mothership nightly.

Run a list surviv command. See what the date is for the last translation and make sure the LSP is registered.

If it's not taking translations, it sounds like you've got the LSP page incorrect.

I find the easiest way is to get in the habit of doing save trans all. It will then update the ESS/LSP in a short amount of time, instead of waiting for nightly maintenance to do it for you.
