Hi folks,

I am using VFP 8. I notice there is a "Save As HTML" option in the File menu. I look at some other people posted the related questions here. Most of the suggestions were using frx2word. Is it impossible to programmically save the report to HTML with this built-in festure? If it is possible, would anybody please give me pointers for how to do it, thanks in advance!

Billy

No, you will notice it only works to save a form as an HTML document.
Maybe faq184-3503 is an option for you.

Billy,

As far as reports are concerned, the "Save as HTML" option only works within the report designer. You cannot make this option available to your user.

However, there are a couple of other options:

- Use the Web Publishing Wizard to generate a web page. This works in much the same way as the Report Wizard, but the end product is an HTML file (or a PRG to generate the HTML file).

- Use a third-party program such as XFRX ( to convert the FRX to HTML.
