Save in *gasp* Excel with Formats

Hello all --

I have a crosstab built based upon table data. Unfortunately, my superiors are not really Business Objects savvy rather they are Excel savvy .

I have unsuccessfully tried numerous times to try to save the Crosstab as an Excel file with the formats intact however nothing is working.

Is there a way to save a crosstab and retain the formats in Excel?

What version are you using?

V6 does a nice job of saving to Excel and retaining formats. V5 does not.

I am using v6.1.3 (I think). But for sure Version 6.

Duh....i meant 5.1.6...duh....that's the right version.
