save as picture in microsoft publisher 2002

when right click mouse to save as picture get various options. when I select Tiff it saves okay but when view properties of saved picture it is always a PNG. JPEG GIF Bitmaps and Megafiles work okay. It is just tiff.

Any ideas ?

I have now found the answer is with xp. I found the following website

and down loaded an file association fix - and all is now okay. It seems xp was saving files as an tiff, but reporting them as something else in the properties. This now closed. Thanks

You don't say much about your working enviornment such as operating system or version of Publisher you are using. I am using Pub 2002 in Win98SE and duplicated your work flow with no problem.
