I have a form that I have created that sums a gruop of records from a subform and displays the answer in a textbox. What I'd like to do also is save those results to a record.

Thanks

After update of a record in the subform, set the sum field in them main form to be contents of the summed text box.

As a general rule of thumb you shouldn't store the result of a calculation, you can repeat the calculation at any time to display it. You will not be able to ensure the integrity of the stored value.
