Hi. I have installed Symantec Corporate Edition 10 Server and added my clients without incident. All works well. However, I am trying to install a secondary server as recommended by Symantec. I have searched their website as well as the documentation included with the installation disks and find no instructions or troubleshooting. I forged ahead anyways and did a push from the primary server to the intended secondary server using the server rollout function. I named the server group the same as on the first server. It did push a server installation to the intended secondary server, but it was completely unconfigured. Do I need to redo all my configuration? It also listed itself in the primary server as Symantec Antivirus 1 (2) under system heirachy rather than listing the server as a secondary server under Symantec Antivirus 1. Anyone know where I went wrong?

SAV Corporate 10 secondary server installation

If you wanted it to be a secondary server, then during the install you were suppose to select to primary group, input the username and pass, to make it a secondary of that group. What you have done it, installed SAVCE to a server that is now apart of a new group called XYYZ (2). Once you unlock that group, you can make a primary server or cut and paste it within the SSC to the orginal group, select yes to apply settings, and you will have a secondary server.

Hi. I have installed Symantec Corporate Edition 10.1 Server for the first time which contained 10 users, and I added my clients without any problem. All works well. However, I am trying to install another server which will also contain 10 users on the same LAN. I have searched their website as well as the documentation included with the installation disks and find no instructions or troubleshooting.
But when I installed Symantec AntiVirus 10.1 which contains 10 seats, with different license from the first, also on the different computer does not work properly because when I go to make installation of the clients I just see the first server.
I tried three times to do it very carefully, but when you install the client they go to the first server. Also on the second server you see all the groups created (srv1 for first and srv2 for second server), but on the first server you see just one group created.
a)How will I add another 10 seats on the same server, instead of installing them on a different server. I have remained with teo boxes which contains different 10 seats, to make the total of 40 seats.
b)If possible how do I install the secondary server
