SAV 8.x server crash, info needed

My SAV server's hard drive failed over the weekend. I'm rebuilding the server now, but there's something I'm interested in.

When I rebild the server, I'm going to name it the same as the one that crashed. If I do this, will the clients still see the new server as their parent server and update from it, or will I have to push a new GRC file to each client?
