SAV 8.0 won't install on any of my win98 pcs.

I am having a hard time installing SAV 8.0 on my windows 98 clients. I am installing off the local server and the install just stops. This is on all my win98 pcs. Anyone else have this problem?

I had problems with 8.1 installing to win98SE clients, despite the Symantec site saying it should install on Win98SE and above. No solution in the end except to install 7.61 on the 98 machines from the Legacy CD. Sounds like you may have a similar problem with 8.0

Have you attempted to install 8.0 to Win98 box locally to see if that is successful?
