I installed a WD SATA HDD, booted this up and my IDE w/ bios disappeared. Reset it went into the bios changed from enhanced to legacy. Rebooted back to bios and my IDE showed but not sata (I know it should). Changed back to enhanced and rebooted to bios and both showed up. Thought the problem was fixed. Powered down the computer later and when I went to power up again same problem. To turn the computer on I have to go to the bios change to legacy and back to enhanced every time to get it to boot. Boot also holds for an extended period of time at XP loading screen as if it is trying to install new crap. Any one have ideas cause I am out.

Thanks,
Russ

The bios I have is the most up-to-date and worked previously. Drawing out a timeline a little better I think this issue started when I had issues of bad airflow design on my old case and it kept locking up due to temp. I changed cases and everything is back as it was except for this issue. Any ideas?
