SAS - Windows 2003 reboot

Hi,
whe have a SAS installation on a Windows 2003 Advanced Server.

All is fine except when the sas session is closing: the server crash and reboot.

This also happen when the Platform JobScheduler 5.31 is stopped via control panel > services.

None is logged or written everywhere, we also try to activate the audit on Process but there are no evidence.

Whe try to investigate with netdiag (all is ok), resettinìg the tcp (netsh int ip reset), disabling the mcafee virusscan, reppaly serverice pack 1.....

any ideas?

No, This definitely sounds like something you should take up with SAS Support, there may be a fix or some settings to change. They have a bunch of setups that they can use to reproduce the issue as well.

i write to tek-tips beacuse SAS Support is going round in the night with n light (i.e. "the problem is on the os , contact Microsoft support").....
