Anyone have a ready made speradsheet or something that will take sar data and make it pretty and report worthy? I have looked at sarcheck, but I am not sure its doing anything thats worth the cost...anyone have opinions?

Anyway, I was going to just pick apart a sar file and move the data into excel or access for reporting but I am willing to be someone has done this before me and done it better too.
-thanks

I have used sarcheck on a Solaris system and liked it because it did some interpreting of the data. But it can be pricey.

What kind of data of the sar would you like to collect.
The best way to import something in Excel or Access, is to separate fields with a semicolon then use the proper function.
The newer versions of "nmon" produce exactly what you like.

Hey sbix, would you happen to know where I can download nmon for aix?

A double thanks sir and happy new year!

Happy New Year,
hopelly with a few of system problems and a lot of laughs
