Hello
I am using Networker Module for SAP R/3 on Oracle along with Solstice backup 6.1 under Solaris 8 Operating environment. After configuring the clients I am able to do backup using 'backint' which I also tried to restore from tape and worked without any problem.
But when I give command 'sapclone', it returns with message " No save sets found". I can do cloning with "nsrclone" command but not with "sapclone command. We are having separate backup server (Sun E4500) with StorageTek L180 tape library and 4 backup clients (Servers running SAP R/3 with Oracle on Sun E10000 with four domains) I have two doubts:
1. Why sapclone command returns with above mentioned message when nsrclone works fine.
2. Will I able to restore any tape created using "nsrclone" in case of disaster? At this stage, I can not test since all servers are live SAP servers.
Thanks and regards
Sharad
