Is there a way to see the different types and quantities of packaging in a bin location. For example let's say I have a pallet with 20 10kg bags in bin A. Where in SAP WM will I see that there are 20 bags at 10kg each and not just the total weight of 200 kgs ?

Hi,

You have 2 options...

Receive each bag individually and then you can look at the individual quants in the bin - or - use Storage Unit/Handling Unit Management.

Good luck - none of the two choices may be very practical - depending on your current business processes.

Another way would be to enter enter the number of containers in your reciept that make up the total quantity.

I use that feature currently (in 4.6C) to determine my sample quantity (in QM).
