SAP Performance Issues 1

I'm about to start performance (load + stress) testing on a SAP project.
Does anyone know any common SAP performance issues I should be aware of?

I know that SAP is shipped with an initial maximum connection ceiling of 250 users, but that's the only limitation I'm aware of.

Hi-

Performance is compromised if you use the 'audit' feature or if you turn on tracing. at Pacificorp we have 2 'instances' where we extend the time out and isolate long batch jobs on that app server. any abap running against the bseg table will hit response time for all other users on the system.
