I am trying to find out how licensing works with SAP Console. What I am trying to figure out is if we have 50 collection units on the floor, do all 50 stations require their own license for sending data to R/3 or does SAP Console only need one license itself and the units need none? If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. I am not getting very far with SAP so I am turning here for help.

Hello, you only need licenses for the users (the same as if you were working with a PC).
You´ll need a license for every user. If yo´re going to work with 50 terminals at the same time you´ll need 50 licenses for WM module.
If you have already users working with the PC for WM module, you can use the same users to work with terminals (you don´t have to buy new licenses)

Regards.

SAP will release a "WEBConsole" solution at the upcoming ASUG Conference. This will allow you to connect directly to SAP via an Internet Browser.
We've just finished testing WEBConsole successfully with transactions we've written for SAPConsole.
Be Sure to Stop By Booth #543 at ASUG for a demo!
