SAP BW & TRex (High Performance Business Intelligence) 2

I have heard about a new SAP concept to increase the performance in SAP BW queries. I understand the the general concept is, to integrate the Trex search engine to find out the users main queries and pre-calculate automatically the results in the RAM. This sounds good from my point of view (concept as many other olap tools have) but I think that hardware (RAM) have to grade up. This new feature will be delivered in 2005 with Netweaver.

Anyone here who has some more information about this feature?

I am one of the developers of this engine and you are absolutely right. The advantages are performance and no need for administrating relational aggregates, but you have to spend additional hardware and RAM. This feature is completely integrated into SAP BW and Netweaver and has therefore a lot of benefits in comparison to other olap tools.
