I have three Option 11c's running 25.40b. To back these up to a PCMCIA card I use LD 43 command BKO and have the card in slot B: I would think it's the same on the Succssion 4.0.
I prefer to use the "upgrade" section command in LD 143. I would also recomend that you save your database via the good old "XBK" & "XVR" commands in LD 143 onto your pc's hard drive.
I've found out that the IP settings in LD 117 have not been restored after using a backed up database from a pcmcia card!. They were, however present on the "XBK" file.
It may take longer to do, but it's well worth it to have more than one type of database backup to use if you are ever faced with a system failure.
I guess I will have to do the hardrive back up, I just realized that these CPU's (PII) are still on floppy backup, for some reason I thought they were using the PCMCIA crad liek the Opt. 11c
