It may help if you posted hardware specifics for each piece of the connection (e.g. HBA, switch, storage unit).
What does "not communicating" exactly mean?
Does this configuration work for other servers, or is this your first run at getting things going?
Was this configuration (hardware pieces) recommended by a vendor or someone who already has it working in his/her environment?
