Hello

I am looking for some idea of software or scripts to be able to gathers information about capacity planning on our storage, IBM DS using SVC and HP SAN.
If some of you have done this before, your advices are welcome.
What I would like is having a view about how much capacity I have gloablly, used and free and then be able to consolidate it to have a view for few months

Thanks in advance
Cheers
Al

There are a lot of SRM (Storage Resource Management) tools out there that can help you gather this type of information. SUN Operations Manager, AppIQ/HP, Veritas Command Central just to name a few. Otherwise you will need to gather this data by hand and create your own spreadsheets and charts/graphs to follow trending and growth.
