There are four businesses in my area that have Samsung DCS 500 phone system that want us to work on them.

Apparently the company that installed them moved out of the area and they have to depend on support from over 100 miles away.

I work on / install Nortel PBX, BCM and MICS/CICS along with Mitel, Alcatel Lucent and some old AT&T stuff, but I'm having difficulty finding useful info and manuals for these system. Mainly what I have been able to find are system admin and key programming manuals and not installers manuals.

Does anyone know a source and/or if there is CBT training available for these systems?

Yeah, I found those manuals, but there isn't an installers manual there. That may be as good as I can get, though

is it a idcs500 or a idcs500 officeserve? also what softwhere is it running . If you req a system maintainer i can put you in touch with someone who can help as these are starting to get dificult to get parts for especially power supplys that do not have a very long lifespan

I'll check with Chris @ wedophones.com about the missing Installer's manual to see why it's not there.

The installers manual is missing, because the (now defunct) installation company didn't leave one for these customers.

I looked and wedophones.com (look at post 2) has the same manuals everyone else has...but no installers manuals. I'm used to working with Nortel, Mitel, Alcatel-Lucent and they all have in-depth programming manuals available for installers...maybe Samsung doesn't...I'm trying to give these customers a potential local outlet for repair so they don't have to rely on support 100 miles away.

hostedvoipman: I have no idea what software release they are running, how do i find out?
