Same PRI, Different COS

Hello all, this is my first post but I'll get right to it.
I have a specific DID going to a line appearance on multiple phones, so that when a doctor calls that number it will ring separately from ACD inbound calls. I want to change the call hold timer for any call placed specifically to the doctors DID. I know that you have to change the COS of the PRI. But, when someone calls the DID it can grab any trunk. Can I make that DID only come in to a specific trunk so I can make a COS for that trunk separately. Please let me know if this is making any sense.

Nope, Change the COS of the destination to activate the COS option - Use Called Party Call Hold Timer

This option controls whether the holding or held device's Call Hold Recall timer is used to time hard hold recalls. When the option is set to "No," the Call Hold Timer in the held party's COS is used. If set to "Yes," the timer used is the one in the holding device's COS.

No = Use held Party (PRI) COS (Default)

Yes = Use Called Party (Phone Set) COS.

Oh ok, that's a good point. But, the customer wants all normal calls to have a hold timer of 4 mins. Which is currently working from the default PRI COS timer. Only calls coming in on this one DID needs a 40 second timer. I just don't know how to make the change without it effecting all calls, all trunks, or all sets.

Setup a group Park key and use that instead of Red Key hold.

It will follow the park timer

Oops, sorry about that lol.
Very good idea. Sounds like the best solution. I had a feeling that what I was asking was not really possible.
