Dear sirs,

I've got a few computers hooked up and I have samba on a RH
linux machine.
I'd like to use lpr to print through a windows usb/parallel port linked bubble jet printer.

Would like to know the procedure to do so (e.g., how to
locate the windows path and name to the printer and
use lpr -P<path><wincomputer name><printer name> is this
the right way?).

Many thanks!

Rgds,
Victor

what is &quot; usb/parallel port &quot;
Is that usb OR parallel ???
Maybe its a usb print server then parallel wire to the printer ??
Guessing.

My printer has got both usb or parallel port so I can choose
either one.

Rgds,
Vic

Well, I have trouble connecting either way.
Can you show me how to hook up through the
parallel port then?

Thanks!
