samba and xp 1

i know people have loads of trouble with samba and windows xp and sometimes the reg fixes aren't always enough, so someone wrote me this patck for samba on the server-side which updates the RPC communication so it is xp compatible.and yes it will still work on the older versions.

you must be root to install it. just follow the instructions in the readme file. they are easy.

That's odd. I haven't had a problem yet with samba and XP. What kind of problems happen?

Exactly what is this script supposed to do!

Here it messed with my firewall and then changed root's password to something unknown.

Thank god it was a disposable linux I was testing on.
