Greetings,
First of all thanks in advance for any help.
Here's the problem...
I've got 3 Windows XP computers and one Linux computer (redhat) They're all networked and the network works great. I can access the Windows XP shares from my Linux machine, but when I share my files to the Windows XP computers they are all getting the error message 'access denied' I've shut down my firewall by going to Settings > Security Level and selecting 'No Firewall'
Please Note: The XP Machines are not prompted for a username and password.
I can get the share from the XP machines if I go directly to my IP address (\\192.168.1.5) If I double-click on the name it's a no go. I've looked over the threads and I've seen some similar problems dealing with domains, however I am on a workgroup.
