Yes, it is posible.
There are four basic things that one can do with Samba:
Share a Linux drive with Windows machines.
Access an SMB share with Linux machines.
Share a Linux printer with Windows machines.
Share a Windows printer with Linux machines.
Had you already seen the smb-howto ???
