Hi there,

Anyone know where I can find the Sales tax field per line item in OELINHST? I do see it in SYTAXHST, but am unsure how to link it when building a report in Crystal.

Thx in advance

Hi,

Try [Tax_Amt] about 2/3 down the OELINHST_SQL table.

Tax_Amt is the taxable amount of that line item. If the item or customer is non-taxable,this will be zero. If it is taxable, it will be the same as the sales amount for the line item.

Somehow I don't think this help you.

Why are you wanting to link these 2 tables? I am unsure if this is possible.

The tax amount per line is dynamically calculated during the invoicing process and accumulated in the OEHDRHST_SQL.tot_tax_amt field. The SYSTAXHST is used to print the sales tax reports. Assuming you are using tax codes and not tax schedules, you would need to determine the tax codes and rates in play from OEHDRHST then link to the OELINHST_SQL and determine if the line is taxable (tax Flag). Calculate the extended line price and multiple it by the rates. Then you can calculate the tax amount per line. Generally depending on the rates, you may have some rounding differences.
