Salaried Manager Labor Posting in Micros 3700

How do we configure our Micros 3700 so our salaried management labor cost (set up as an annual salary in POS Configurator/Employee) shows up on the second page of the Daily System Sales Detail under "Management Labor?" All of our HOURLY labor cost is reporting under FOH and BOH categories. We also have a Catering labor category and the hourly labor expense is posting to that. However, we would like to see the daily salaried management labor cost be included in our total labor, but can't seem to find where to designate that it be included in our daily labor report totals. Any suggestions?

We customized the report to show the salaried employees. Not sure if there is another way. You can edit the report to pick up the actual amount through SQL or you can just put a numeric total in if your management number is static. Just need to remember to change it if changes happen to your salaried employees

Thank you so much. Would you be willing to give me a bit more direction on how we "can edit the report to pick up the actual amount through SQL?

Do you have Crystal Reports to edit reports and are you comfortable doing that?
Do all your salaried employees going to be tracked in the "Management" category? (like the chef)
Are there going to be any hourly managers wages that will need to be added to the "Management" category?

I don't even know if we have Crystal Reports so I am probably not comfortable editing them. Yes, we would like all salaried managers to be tracked. There are three of us. No, we will not include any hourly employees in the management labor category.

I also emailed my Micros tech support guy. He says: "Unfortunately salaried labor will not show in that particular field of the system balance report. I can say you are not the first to request this, what we have done for other customers is setup an automatic clock in and out for a dummy employee to account for that labor."

I just don't understand Micros sometimes. Why the heck won't it show up? Because I don't want to pay them $350 to come out for 15 minutes and program it?

If I have time today, I might try setting up a dummy employee to clock in and out, but then it will probably show up in either FOH or BOH. Total labor will be correct but I'll have to manually correct the categories FOH, BOH and Management. Hmmmph.
