We have sage line50 installed on the server and all the clients the sage line50 installed on them and the get all the data from the server, The problem is that to get sage line50 to work i have to give them admin rights, all the data is set to everyone full access,so i can't understand why they have to have domain admin right for the program to work. Any idears will be gr8

domain admin or local admin? There's no way that any client/server software should require you to be a domain admin to run...

Domain admin, not local admin, i called the company thst produce sage line50 and they say that domain admin right are NOT needed. Unless i add Domain Admin rights to the user the program just hanges at the splash screen when it trys to access data on the server. I have tryed moving the data to a diffrent server and the problem still happens! Matthew Hankins

The installation on the client side is it in a client that is authenticating to the domain? If so when the client software is added to the client try installing as local admin then putting the program in the all users folder and giving the appropriate rights to the program so that everyone has rights to the client program. Then try connecting the client again. We have an old db program that we had the same problem with and this fixed our prob.
