I have a client thatcannot open Yahoo Mail and Hotmail's websites.

These worked prior to placing a new Netgear 624 Wireless router on site. All the Windows PC's are working just fine, and the Mac is connecting to the internet and can pull up other websites ok (or it has been reported to me that all is well ).

Any ideas? This just started last Saturday...

As a test, can you try to access those sites with another browser, like Firefox?

To my knowledge that has not been tested...but I do know that Safari will open other websites with no problem...

All I can figure is something is stuck or corrupted in the cache...how to clear that in Safari I have no idea as I am a total newbie to Safari (but I already like it!)

I would strongly advise downloading Firefox and see if that can access the problem sites. Otherwise you won't be able to figure out if it's a Safari problem or one created by the new router.

You could try going to Safari menu/preferences/security/cookies and clicking on Show cookies. Then delete all.

Safari caches are located in User/Library/Caches/Safari.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

I appreciate the input and will see if I can talk the client into loading Firefox (a personal favorite of mine on both Linux and Winbloze)...
