sa-learn --spam

I use spam assassin and I am still getting slammed. I take each spam I get and copy the body of the mail into sa-learn --spam. Those emails still come through though. What should I be doing?

What is the spam level that you have set-up in your .procmailrc?

.procmailrc does not exsist on my system

Did you install SpamAssassin from an .RPM? Currently how are you setting your spam levels?

This is what I have in my amavisd.conf

$sa_tag_level_deflt  = 2.0;  # add spam info headers if at, or above that level
$sa_tag2_level_deflt = 6.31; # add 'spam detected' headers at that level
$sa_kill_level_deflt = 6.31; # triggers spam evasive actions
$sa_dsn_cutoff_level = 9;    # spam level beyond which a DSN is not sent
