S8800 Duplex CM6 in Processor Ethernet: G450 won't register 2

Hi,

I'm installing a S8800 duplex configuration in CM6, using processor ethernet.

When I look in the SMI at the status overview, everything looks fine. PE is up, DUP is up, license is normal,...

however, the only gateway I want to register to the system is a G450 in the same subnet.

I issued the "no ip arp inspection" command to disable arp (because I'm in the same subnet.

I can perform admin via the virtual IP of the PE.

And still the G450 won't register...


Any idea what I'm doing wrong here??

One quick question, are u using G650/IPSI on this scenario?

No I'm not. That G450 is the only gateway in the system (it's a demo system)

how do u know that the license is normal? How you tried the command "ip license-server" on the G450?

i checked the license status on the maintenance pages. It's a CM6 DUPLEX on System Platform so it uses WebLM.

I issued the ip license-server on the G450... no difference.

How about your mgc list? Have you tried rebooting?

I set the MGC list to the virtual address, to the address of the active server... no effect.

I rebooted servers and G450 several times.

I can ping the virtual address from the G450...

I think I missed something in the admin of CM but don't know what. Adding a gateway isn't that complicated

hmmm... on the CM, have you tried the command "add ip-int pro"? its a little weird, though. Serial number of the media gateway on the "change media" is it correct or might be typo...
