s8730 CM5.0 Installation Problem

Hello Everybody.

I have a problem in the installation of Communication manager in a s8730 Server.

When i boot the machine with the CM5.0 CD-ROM inside, in order to install the software, in the step where i should press 'OK' to start the installation, i get a message which tells me that i should first reboot the server before the installation begins.
After the reboot when i step into the installation wizard, i get again the same message.

I haven't see that in the past and i can not find a solution in the avaya support site.

Do you have any idea what is that and why is happening?
And of course how can i solve that problem?

i didnt get that message bu i have seen that you cant have the flash card readers and modems connected .
 
I tried to do it with the flash card readers and modems not connected and it didn't work.

Anyway, i have take a screen shot of the message and I'll open a ticket in Avaya.
I'll let you know about their answer.

not sure of your problem but try this:

open telnet session. Type "unset crlf"

Then type: "open 192.11.13.6"

 
there is an issue due installion with the Hard Disk.
Please put a monitor and keyboard on the server during setup.
Press F2 to enable the Hard Disk and continue.
