S8700 - how do I ensure I use port 5023

when I go to use Native Config Manager , it tries to load 10.x.x.x : 5022 , having trouble figuring out how to use 5023.

any help would be greatly appreciated

I have seen this also when using the Java app thats on-board the CM. I'm guessing it uses 5022 as a default since 5023 is used to access the CM from ASA (usually). That Java app is new to me and, in my humble opinion, not nearly as easy to use as ASA. I pretty much gave up using about 5 seconds after i figured out it was running on java.... Needless to say I dont care much for using the VAL manager either. I was a real bummer too, i had read about it and was excited to get to use a "web interface".
