S8300E & CM5.2.1 SW Load Help

Our lab is having problems loading CM5.2.1 on a new S8300E MP.

We verified our lab equipment was good - loaded CM5.2.1 on S8300D and VSP-CM6.3 on another S8300E ....

Go thru the steps we have used many times to load CM5.2.1 on the S8300Ds and after the led flashes the correct # of times on DVDRW drive - we can't ping the S8300E ... tried multiple S8300Es. No problem pinging and telneting to the S8300D in same test station?

My CM guru says you can load CM5.2.1 on the S8300E .... ??

There must be a trick to it.

Your CM guru is correct. The S8300E came out way after CM 5.2.1. System Platform 6.3.7/CM 6.3.x. was the first versions to support S8300E.

Thanks .... we found the Avaya docs stating vsp6.3.7 - CM6.3 is earliest supported on S8300E.
