I've got an issue with an S8300 running 4.0.1 connected to an INDeX.

If an index user calls a user on the s8300 and the call hits voicemail via the coverage path, the index user gets the following message "Extension 0000, please wait, extension not valid" and then drops the call.

If I call ext to ext on the s8300 I can leave a message in the users mailbox and also if I dial in on the users DDI I can leave a message in the users mailbox.

Anybody any ideas???

I have no idea what an "INDeX" is, but, your problem is, the digits to the IA770 trunk group are not listed in the "public" or "private" numbering. You need to send the digits to either one, depending on how you setup your IA770 trunk group. That is a symptom of a non-integrated voice mail system.

Mitch672, maybe you're in the US? I assume that glimma is talking about the old avaya INDeX system which were very popular in the UK but have been phased out.
